2025 Summary

Task tickets represent general work items that need to be completed. These are broad building tasks that don't fit into other ticket categories.

Bug tickets are documented issues, bugs, or critical broken functionality that needs fixing. These range from urgent problems requiring immediate attention to known issues that can be addressed later.

Spike tickets are discovery oriented, almost open ended tasks that may evolve into additional spike tickets or break down into multiple task tickets for implementation.

Epic tickets involve planning, investigating, and managing new or existing epics. These can include building a new version of an app or developing a plan for a new project.

Design tickets form the foundation for all new ideas, whether expanding existing concepts or creating assets for marketing and app launches. We track design work because it's a crucial step in every stage of project development.

Writing tickets were previously nested within Task tickets. However, as our content creation has expanded over the years, we needed a better way to track these items. Writing tasks are more complex than standard tasks, they involve writing, editing, data validation (in some cases), designing, and posting.
